Town Clerk

Salary up to £52,394

We are a vibrant and innovative Quality Status Council providing a range of services to the City of Truro including Parks and Gardens, the Tourist Information Centre and the management of many facilities. Our role also covers involvement in planning and highways development, supporting community events and initiatives, and working for the continual improvement of the City. We have been highly successful in securing funding for community initiatives and in partnership working.

To lead, manage and develop the Council we are seeking to appoint a Town Clerk.

You will need vision and sound financial, administrative and business management skills. You will also be able to inspire others and have the ability to work in partnership with the Councillors and other local authorities, as well as community and business groups in promoting the interests of the City of Truro.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Tuesday 30 November and a selection process will be held on 14-15 December.
