1.6% of £270k.. The agent thinks the above listing justifies a £4320 fee.

Amazingly, it would seem that the vendor has agreed.

I have e-mailed them asking if the vendor will take 200 instead of 270- after all, they only paid 160 for it in 2002.

Will let you know what sort of reply I get.

Scott has been told to market the property at 290K. Scott's enlightened thought of the day is to market the property at £289,950.

"This way buyer thinks pwopertee is bargain"

Well done Scott.

That's brilliant! I bet the vendor is seriously pissed off with that! All their cards laid on the table.

What'll be funny is if, when Scott realises his mistake - he doesn't delete and start again, but just amends the listing, so it will stay on PropertyBee as the original description... ;-)

Even if they relist it, a google of the address will lead here...

I'd love to listen to the phone call from the vendor when they see it :)

I also think that the agents in Bairstow (the sacked agent) must be have an enjoyable morning when they see it... strong dose of Schadenfraude...

And here on their own website too.

http://www.josephsco...28&CURRENCY=GBP

Is it just me, or does £290k still seem incredibly cheap for a 3 bed detached house in zone 4 North West London?

Idiot EA's. It's not bloody detached, it's a tiny terraced and it's certainly not worth £290k if Street View is anything to go by.
