Biofuels

At Petrol Direct we know that fossil fuels won't last forever, so we have developed some environmentally friendly fuels that will keep your gas guzzling offroader going without destroying the earth.

Petrel™

Many people consider seabirds to be a pest - they create a mess, are very noisy and can spread disease. At Petrol Direct we see seabirds differently - as one of nature's great bounties.

Using a specially patented process along with our partners, the Shanghai Biofuel and Noodle Corporation (SBNC) we have developed Petrel™ a fuel source made from a mixture of seabird guano, combined with the rendered down, fermented and then distilled corpses of a variety of common gulls, albatrosses and terns. Tests have shown that this gives an fuel very closely equivalent to standard 95 RON unleaded petrol. Another advantage with Petrel™ is that government regulations count it as a foodstuff, so duty is only the standard 17.5% rate of VAT.

Vin Diesel™

Various countries have been experimenting with biodiesels for some time, but Petrol Direct has tapped into the legendary EU wine lakes to come up with Vin Diesel™. Made from the foulest and most undrinkable European wines (such as Blue Nun and Beaujolais Nouveau) we have come up with a range of diesel fuels that are incredibly cheap.. because the EU has subsidised them!

We can supply Vin Diesel™ in 0.75 litre bottles in red, white, pink or sparkling† varieties. This also makes an ideal Christmas gift for a loved one! (Not to be taken internally.)

†sparkling Vin Diesel™ may cause misfiring and head gasket failure if over-used.

Perfuel™

Aimed especially at lady drivers of Beetle Convertibles, Mazda MX5s and other girlie cars, Perfuel™ is an attractively fragrant biofuel made from processed rose petals.

The advantages of Perfuel™ are twofold - rose petals are a renewable energy source, and additionally it is the only fuel that perfumes the environment with a delicate aroma as you drive.

Sold in 15ml bottles at £300 per bottle.

Do we think this might be a spoof?

How can you help us? If you're a petrol-head and you like to hang around messaging boards with other petrol-heads, why not wind up your online friends with helpful posts like:

I can't believe how cheap they are - I ordered thirty litres of super unleaded and it was there, next day, left on my doorstep in 2 litre plastic bottles.

They've certainly cornered the market in high-perfomance fuels. They even sell petrol with NOx already in it which saves on the costs of an expensive conversion.

If you don't mind driving slowly, the Ultra Low Cost Value Unleaded is amazingly cheap.

At last a company that understands the importance of real lead in petrol.. and lots of it!

They're not just a pile-it-high and sell-it-cheap merchant, it seems that they are working with partners to develop a lot of environmentally friendly fuels, plus some really advanced stuff for the future.

I think it's shocking - sending petrol is the post is incredibly dangerous!

They want the chip oil for biodiesel

This maybe funny but it is also a good point. Why are we still so addicted to Saudi black gold when there have always been alternatives? Cuba has been running all their engines off Coconut Oil for 40 years (since the US embargo).

Question: - is not being good friends with the US (don't want to get in trouble here with DrBubb so I will clarify - not the people (and in terms of individuals I have found some of the Americans I have met to be some of the most generous and giving people I have ever met), just the Government):

Good for the environment?

Good for internal social relations?

Good for our boys in the forces?

Course the Saudis would hate us as well if we started replacing their produce with Cuban coconuts :lol::lol:

There was a kernel (obscure pun!) of truth in my jest. It is also possible to ferment vegetable waste to make ethanol which may also be used as a fuel or added to existing ones.

However, expecting forward thinking from our politicians as opposed to set aside subsidies is asking a little to much of the poor dears
