The Most Predictable Measure To Help The Economy....

As I said some while back, expect motorists to fund the budget deficit

And here it is....

War on London drivers as army of traffic wardens hired to boost revenue

Drivers in central London face a new army of traffic wardens as councils use money raised from parking fines to plug the gap left by government cuts.

Round-the-clock patrols will be mounted on the city's busiest roads as Westminster council increases its number of attendants by 50 to 220.

Westminster, which raised £41 million last year from 686,310 tickets at about £60 a time, is the first to introduce the new inspectors but the move is expected to be copied by others.

My misses got a fine the other week for parking too close to a junction, this was put on the car by a volunteer support officer, aka one of Cameron's Barmy Army of boomers who don't need to be involved with real productive paying work to fund their lifestyles.

There's a plan....

Foreign drivers owe £4.5m fines

......oh...wait...err hang on... And that's just London. dry.gif

A small application of wisdom to this problem would suggest that any badly-parked foreign-registered cars should be automatically towed away - as otherwise, hell will freeze over before their owners pay the fines.

EDIT: typo.

Eh?

You mean a police community support officer? They're full time paid employees.

Perhaps you should buy your wife a highway code, it might be cheaper :P
