Peter Schiff To Speak In Ireland - "what The Heck Just Happened?"

Recommended Posts

Ireland is holding a celebration of the lighter side of economics...

...and Peter Schiff is the star!

The Kilkenomics Festival is the brainchild of David McWilliams, one of Ireland's foremost economic commentators, and several compatriots. With their homeland on the verge of sovereign default and in the midst of a tough austerity program, the organizers are trying to answer the question:

"What the heck just happened?"

The goal is to bring in citizens from all walks of life, not just economists and economics enthusiasts. So, in perhaps a worldwide first, Kilkenomics will mix economic panels with perrformances by a sampling of Ireland's top stand-up comedians, like Des Bishop and Colin Murphy.

No one knows what happens when you mix eminent economists with stand-up comedians, but it will surely be unforgettable.

Peter Schiff is scheduled to speak on panels Friday, November 12th, Saturday the 13th, and Sunday the 14th. For more information, visit www.kilkenomics.com.

Seems an interesting concept.

Unlike Scepticus / Extra Dry Martini

Or whatever else he calls himself these days, Schiff's predictions have been spot on for more than a decade.

When verbose Sceppy writes I fall asleep, when Schiff speaks I usually listen because history tells me that Schiff tends to be write unlike Sceppy.
