Paul O'grady Political Rant - How Did I Miss It!

Recommended Posts

Groan.

I wonder how many construction workers Mr O'Grady talks to. Alot of them got two fingers from the benefits system when the banks collapsed, because they're self-employed, and now they're getting back to work I'd say they're not too keen on paying income tax and NI to support handouts to the government's favourites.

How come these "comedians" are always left wing? It's like a hangover from the 80's.

At least he refrained from blaming Fatcher.

Kenny Everett said lets kick michael foots stick away once.

I think that was the only anti left wing thing ive ever heard any comedian say any time ever.

Here we go.

The only difference is when you take the pee of the left its 'political controversy', when you take the pee of anyone else its fair game.

Took an MBE from the Queen, owns a flat in London and a farm in Kent but claims to be a man of the people by milking an accent. Just a man who knows how to kiss his demographics ****.

Half of that laughter sounded canned too, i doubt his audience would have kept up with what he was saying.

That's very true!

At least with conservative politicians they can take a bit of ribbing,as long as it's satire.

Politicians of ALL colurs, however, really don't like being made to look thick or out-of-touch.Anybody remember Graham Bright on the Brasseye "cake" episode?

Typical Left Wing. Offers criticism and insults without offering any solutions whatsoever.

I honestly dont think people have the stomach in this country for what needs to be done. Already in the public conciousness we have the 'nasty Tories' who want to take from the poor to give to the rich. At the first opportunity I can see that Labour will get in to power again and really give the stupid people in the UK exactly what they deserve.

A hypocritical popualist, but remember the current crop of Tories never came to power on a majority vote and public sector cuts worked well for Ireland, didn't it?

Talking of hypocritical socialists .....Alexei Sayle being interviewed in the Money Section of the Sunday Telegraph yesterday --

Question - What property do you own?

"We've got a 3 bedroomed flat in Bloomsbury we bought in 1988 and a 3 bedroom villa in the south of Spain we bought 11 years ago. I'm content with our flat - we've never thought about moving or climbing up the property ladder because I feel a home is somewhere to live, not something to make money from. We do let our flat to holidaymakers when we're not there, which I know is a very capitalist thing to do, but it makes me feel better. After all, when it's lying empty I just feel guilty about wasting it. We only go there there ourselves for a couple of months a year"

Didn't the Labour Party during the 80s/90s mutate into the Conservative Party Mk. II anyway? A choice between left leaning but overpaid celebrities and the current crop of corporate/political shite running the country in the last three decades is a choice between a "Chinese" rub and toenails getting pulled slowly one by one...

Well, lets just carry on borrowing £160bn a year, yes Paul?

It's just because he won't have to pay for the huge F-up that is the last 13 years that's why. TBH he's got to slag off the cuts and the tories, I can't imagine many people who actually have jobs watching his show, which leaves coffin dodgers and bums!
