Looks Like Haliburton Are Responsible For Gulf Leak

Recommended Posts

Could be political, Haliburton, ex CEO Dick Cheney, Republican VP, Obama may be using this to blame the Republicans for the oil spill.

Interesting times.

...sorry they can't be to blame...they're American.....

I blame gas itsself!

Carbon Dioxide is up in court at the moment and Hydrogen was to blame for the Hindenburg airship disaster!

No people or companies involved!:lol:

Haliburton is a name that keeps cropping up a lot, they made a killing in Iraq!

I have just been reading Guns For Hire - a history of mercenary soldiers. Basically Haliburton may say it is an oil services company but it is really a private Army that the US govt uses to deploy military force to areas. The benefit to the US govt is that there are no soldiers body bags and it is all deniable. Quite shocking really.

So will BP get their money back?

Probably, if not a good deal of it back now the lawyers are involved.

They will get money from Cameron, Halliburton, Transocean, and the other partners (oil companies) who were involved or to blame in this venture.

BP responded by taking all the financial hit to stop the leak and clean it up to then get it back through the courts.

Surely, the Gulf spill's Carbon's fault rather than Oxygen's? (Also, re. the Hindenberg airship disaster, surely that's Oxygen's fault rather than Hydrogen's?).

So are BP.

...it's all about perception and deception ...it suited Obama to have the 'British' as the big bad wolf ...and hold their British CEO to account and destroy him professionally ....OK demographically BPs largest share of ops is USA due to it's take over of AMACO but it was one of the largest FTSE 100 Companies until the Yanks fried it ....time to watch the next chapter of this stirring tale.....

That's great. Good news for UK plc.

Why? What on earth has this to do with the UK economy? Are you suggesting that the pension funds and other morons that have BP shares have no shares in the other companies? Will any money paid to BP suddenly be given to the taxpayer in a fit of guilt by this corrupt and incompetent company?

Schlumbergers were French/Alsace

I've been around their castle museum in Normandy

Crèvecœur castle houses an exhibition focussing on the industrial adventures of the Schlumberger brothers

"Some years later, Conrad and his brother Marcel made this method the top technique worldwide for oil prospecting."

It's interesting! Im olden days pigs were tried for causing bad weather!

"Hydrogen to blame" was a newspaper headline from 1931, or whenever it was!

Schlumbergers corporate head office is in Houston, Texas.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it's a Duck.
