Great minds!

Definitely worth a watch, 200k for a former slum dwellers flat. Bonkers...

MODS: Get merging

Diddums.. they don't want to move because it'll affect the kids (who don't seem to care so long as they can play their DS)

OMFG - going to boil my blood...

Family of immigrants, he's a security guard, 'off sick for 3 months' - 2 kids, living in a 300k flat, but all paid for by HB.

I'm on 50k, IT professional, but couldn't dream of living there, as I cannot afford it. Totally not fair on us that pay our taxes...

I can not be bothered to work, but my kids will suffer, my kids will suffer.

Your kids are suffering mate because you can not be bothered to work. Yet even though you can not be bothered to work you kids get free healthcare and a free education.

You aren't all going to fall for this shit, are you?

Yep, I'll fall for it when the money for my £300 a month train ticket comes out of my salary, because I need to live 25 miles from my job.

You might not have to deal with that 'shit', but for some of us that's the reality, and no amount of philosophising or graphs is going to change that.

scouse woman said it's not fair she wouldn't be able to live in Southwark - apparently she objects to getting bunkbeds in a smaller home

Grant Shapps sounds like he has been reading HPC

Beggars belief.. when it's someone elses money, the claimants are happy to pay rent as if it's monopoly money, but expect them to fork out £50 of their own money and suddenly they're being asked a Kings' ransom

Silly billy. People on benefits have a right to good schooling, whereas tax payers have to put up with crap schools.

Now we have a massively fat benefit bunny who could save a shedload of cash by going on a diet saying her children would suffer.

Oh Children have AHAD - another scam.

What is AHAD? A Hapless/ Absent Dad?

Yes, Gavin, it is difficult to imagine being able to afford that. The villain is high rent, not low HB.

To be able to afford £500 a week and still have money for a life you'd need to be on about £80k a year.
