Housebuilder - 60% Sold With 'part Ownership'

Interesting, but not a shock. Good to see some numbers for once though.

"The average sale price actually increased slightly to £284,000, although most of the homes - about 60 per cent - were sold under part-ownership terms where the company takes a 20 to 25 per cent stake in the homes, reducing the loan-to-value ratios for prospective buyers. "

So the average price 'rose' at the same time as the majority of those sold were only for 75-80% of the actual house value. I think in real terms that is a pretty large drop.

Is the whole World just sticking their fingers in their ears and going 'Lah lah lah lah lah'........................:blink:
