The Old Times Returning

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else seeing a large increase in property with PART EXCHANGE CONSIDERED, I have not seen this much in property advertisements for a long while but am seeing it a lot in the last couple of weeks especially on larger properties. Things seem to be changing fast just lately, anyone else seen this.

Yes, I am seeing a marked increase in larger properties showing this "part exchange considered" message recently.

I wonder what chance there is, of anyone managing to do this?

Lots of housebuilder land hoarder and shitty box builder adverts on the radio.

oh yeah, I agree with this. Barrat, Taylor Wimpey, etc, they all went crazy with their 5% deposit and 75% shared ownership schemes recently. At 8 am and 6 pm my local radio is full of this s***. Gues they are a bit desperate nowadays...:D

Don't these schemes work by the builder just inflating the asking price?

But how can this happen with the banks supposedly claming down massively on valuations.
