A Foot In The Door

Recommended Posts

Apologies if this has already been discussed, I only got to read the paper late last night.

This was a double page article in yesterdays paper on the increase in repossessions.

Sheila Wilcox who is in charge of issuing the court summons to debtors at Cardiff County Court says "Before we were issuing about 11 summons a week, thats jumped to 11 a day" She also says she has a backlog of 2 months work.

It is very sad reading as it tracks several people being evicted.

The locksmith employed in Bristol "to do their dirty work" says his work really picked up last year. Previously he was called to ex-council houses but now it tends to be nicer houses with bigger mortgages.
