This is an amazing thing.... if true, may God help the big banks involved, because nobody else is going to......

The allegations contained in here sound insane.

But does anyone doubt anything any more?

Dennigers take on this?

Are the allegations contained here insane?

Has a GS employee committed an act of fraud? Not impossible. Has GS as a matter of company policy knowingly committed an act of fraud? Almost inconceivable I'd say. Whatever they are as a firm they are not stupid.

I don't see anything insane here. The $118,000 is probably foreclosure fees. This is part of a pattern of abuse and law breaking which is now an integral part of US corporate processes and procedures:

- You systematically break and abuse the law

- You get caught a few times and pay a small fine because both the legislature and the judicial is in your pocket as you put them in power via campaign contributions.

- You tell the public it was a simple error, just a paperwork problem or unfortunate human error.

- Most of the time you rake in billions and your total penalties will amount to a few millions at most. Good business...

...when a $534,000 balloon repayment due in 30years time is found on his documentation and he did not know about it ....he wondered why it was there .....if it was there when he signed .....?

.....the suggestion was he was forced into foreclosure as the Bank had hedged against this failure....tut tut ...would a respectable institution do such a thing .....did they ever hedge against HPC...? ....I thought I read something on this subject recently....but on individual mortgages...?.....wow....surely not.....
