The Enterprise Allowance Scheme Returns!

Recommended Posts

K

I did the Enterprise allowance Scheme back in the eighties, even 40 quid per week was very little and that was when you could buy a house for 40k. Should be 120 (6k per year)at least.

I remember going for a one day course and being told by the instructor that they were surprised that people were still signing up for it! My response was that 40 quid was better than 32 on the dole!

IDS should try thinking.

Btw, finally I was self-employed for 12 years.....abroad ironically.

Great salesman?

We were already sold...

So at that time all we had was a day course and one home visit to see if we were still going, keeping books mainly. You can guess that this time some old twit who used to work for ICI will be giving advice (mentoring!)on running your window cleaning business and getting paid at a rate that normal people can only dream of. More jobs for the boys.
