I Despair Of This Politically Correct World

Just watching this on the news.

Astonishing. A dinner lady, offering a pupil a biscuit FFS.

I really hope the people who raised this and those that 'pursued' this nonsense lose their jobs - it is they who are not fit to be around children.

I sneaked into a pub around 13-14 yrs with a couple of mates.

Head skool dinner lady was in there with her friend & bought us all a pint of lager - no questions :P

What is the World coming to?

Victim of a barbarous, shadowy cult?

What does "CCC" mean instead of "333" in Masonic lingo then?

Suppose I'll have to look it up.

I just ignore it. :D

Got asked to leave a meeting once as I refused to address the Chairman as Chairperson.

If a lady is in the chair I refer to her as Madam Chairman which in the old way would have been showing great respect. ;)

Dinner lady accused of "grooming' when she gave a child a biscuit

I think this goes beyond political correctness. I'm guessing this woman had an enemy in the school, who decided to victimise her in a rather horrible way. If you're clever (& nasty) about it, political correctness and health and safety garbage can be used to bash colleagues. I see it happen all the time at work.
