Buyers Are Taking Time To Choose That Dream New Ho

Recommended Posts

'More and more homeowners are having to play the waiting game as the property market remains slow. Gone are the days of just 18 months ago when homes were snapped up within hours of being put up for sale as the housing market witnessed rocketing property values...'

What’s a dream home? They’re all a nightmare to me.

Edited for spelling again (why don't I pay attention to what I'm doing?"

Read the article and then do a search for HPs on nethouseprices in Sketty Road, Swansea.

I know of a divorced woman who sold her house on Sketty Road about 1999/2000 for, I was told, 82K. She and her then husband had bought it in the previous boom for, I believe, 120K.

I live about a mile from Sketty Road - used to be a nice quiet road but has now become one of the main thoroughfares in Swansea - and I personally would not pay more than 150K for a house along there. Several are advertised in the 300K plus bracket with several closer to 400K. Again, take a look at nethouseprices going back 4 or 5 years. Shocking IMPO!
