We are £600,000,000,000 in debt more then we were 6 years ago..

nine months ago the mewers began to get scared..

Now instead of everyone running about spending hugely into debt..

they are paying the debt of.

High street sits up .. scratches its head and looks for its customers..

Buy now.. Pay later..

Well.. now its later.. and we can't buy now anymore..

Run up to Christmas???????  For God's sake, it's still three and a half months away, I haven't had my summer holiday yet.

Asda started selling Christmas crackers two weeks ago, and they are only early because there is no sell by date on them.

Enjoy your summer Bluelady

You have to bear in mind that house prices are dropping..

we are 4.5% interest rates.. extraodinally low.. and the economy is faltering..

all looking nice and stable then..

"The very desire to become a politician makes you immedtiatly unsuitable to ever become one"

I can't spell..

I wish someone would tell people in Glasgow that no-one is buying anything!! The shops are mobbed, Ikea was mobbed beyond belief and had ran out of half of the furniture I wanted to buy. Maybe this economic downturn is only evident in the south?

I walked through Hove this week New Church Road, did you notice the ES doing nothing. If it was about 3 pm. Thursday I might have passed you.
