Hutton Pension Reform Report Out At 8Am

Looks like means tested pensions will have to be introduced, that might not seem fair to those who have saved for retirement but we can't afford to give everyone a state pension but we can't let people starve.

I thought this was about Public Sector Pensions, not the State Pension?

Regarding Public Sector Pensions, how can it be not fair to have a pension based on your contributions? The alternative is to have, like now, a pension based on fantasy.

The Public Sector appear to be bleating as their pensions based on fantasies may be replaced soon (hope springs eternal).
