Bbc One Show : The Nazi Plan To Scupper Britain's Economy.

Recommended Posts

For some reason BBC's The One Show is talking about the economic warfare Hitler had planned to wage on Britain.

His plan was to flood Britain's economy with forged notes in order to cause hyperinflation.

Er? Excuse me? Why raise this now?

Why criticise Hitler for this evil intentions* yet remain silent about the banks' actions?

Infact, why are they mentioning this story at all?

Do they know something is afoot and are priming the public?

I picked up the local paper in Weymouth a few weeks ago because ... there was a picture of Hitler on the front page. Something to do with local heroes in the war.

These guys can shift product.

I'm so disappointed, when I saw the thread title I was expecting news of a plot here and now.

Whats the difference between the Nazis printing money, a forger in his basement, or our Government, if it has the same effect?

To devalue the pound in your pocket?

[slice it any way you like, The policies Labour have introduced amount to Economic fascism.]

Dont see the Beeb [faux left wing, champagne socialists, Censored Dinosaur] discussing that........

Are you for real?

What planet are you on?

We've just been through the biggest credit bubble in history and its biggest economic shock. Day-in-day-out figures are quoted on this forum of the UK Goverment having spent/needing to spend anywhere between £1 trillion and £4 trillion. Rumours abound of more quantitative easing and a debate has been raging on this forum for the last few years as to whether we are to experience deflation/hyperinflation. The global economy remains very fragile and its widely acknowledged that the banking sector is the weakest link meaning the threat of severe economic turmoil remains.

I am not saying that the banks wilfully set out to destroy the economy the way Hitler intended, but as a consequence of their actions they have caused precisely the kind of destruction Hitler could have only dreamed of.

So being a Nazi is a bad thing???????? because im just an average guy who works, looks after his kid and does no harm to anyone ... and i am often referred to one for being against uncontrolled immigration.

There seems to be some bizarre personality trait in the fuzzy leftwing liberal that if they go on about how bad the Nazis were that it somehow makes them a better person for doing so. Im sure most of them dont know what a Nazi is as they use the term so f'en frequently.

So can I now say that quantitative easing is nazi without anyone calling Godwin's law?

What you can say is that the banks' actions have caused the kind of economic destruction Hitler intended.

You need to youtube (it's become a verb!?) "allo allo" to find out the true horror.

Besides, it's a very German thing, people here would giggle.

All the crappy videos on Youtube should be moved to a website called U-Bend.

I think you will find that the banks were operating in a regulatory and legal framework specifically designed to generate a credit boom of epic proportions which enabled Nu Labour to claim they had ended boom and bust whilst lining their own pockets.

Wake Up!

A regulatory and legal framework they had bought.

Wake Up!

So when the Chairman of Lloyds shackled a solvent English bank to a bankrupt Scottish one after a chat with Gordon Brown - thus shafting his own shareholders

Who was buying who exactly and what was the price?

The bankers didn't cause the crash, it was the politicians and if you believe it was the bankers then you are believing what they want you to believe.

Wake Up!

I think you'll find the Lloyds takeover of HBOS took place after the credit crunch occured, which itself was caused by banks behaving recklessly.

The BBC ought to remember about the Nazis half-baked plan to mess up the British economy by flooding the country with fake fivers.

Back in the 1980s they did a sitcom about this hapless German agent who was given the job of spending loads of fake money in England.

It was called Private Schulz.

The Nazis did have a plan to do this, and made loads of near-perfect forgeries, but it would never have worked, especially in ration-book wartime Britain.

Fivers back then would have been HUGE amounts to spend, and impossible to "put into circulation" in any significant quantity without drawing attention to the person doing it. A couple of web sites say that the average wage was around £1-£2 a week then, so a five pound note was far bigger than any note today. Even a 500 Euro, and you just try to spend those today!

The Nazis comic-book-caper plan was called Operation Bernhard.

One of the best comedies produced at that time. Ian Richardson was superb. Its available on DVD - well worth a watch.

...erm ...yes.

he also planned to cause mas immigration(already done by NuLabour),and then employ a naval blockade to starve the people into submission.

...this is also part of an old 1950's soviet battle plan, except the soviets also planned for a land invasion, rather than waiting for surrender by attrition. The constant media barrage of "NuLabour",even though they are a spent force is straight out of the communist manifesto and marxist textbook.
