Selling Car Privately

Recommended Posts

Any tips?

Sell with 6 weeks MOT left and last service done 11 months ago or get the service and MOT done a month early?

Pay a couple of hundred to touch up alloys or not?

Only a Mazda 5, nothing fancy.

You want the best price then get the mot done.

If it fails then do the bits and sell it with a full mot.

If it needs a lot of work then bin the mot and flog it as is.

A fail does not supercede your existing mot and put the car off road. I couldnt believe it either but this is true.

Leave the alloys, it is waisted cash.

Don't bother trying to sell without a new MOT.By the time you get it advertised you will only have a month and a buyer will suspect that it wont pass another. Then it's a hundred quids worth.
