David Miliband twice as popular with voters as Ed

Ed Miliband is less than half as popular as his older brother David – and his victory in the Labour leadership contest has reversed the decline in David Cameron’s ratings.

That is the finding of a BPIX survey for The Mail on Sunday which will cause concern among Labour MPs worried that they have chosen the wrong man to lead their party into the next election.

Only last weekend, another poll had put Labour ahead of the Conservatives for the first time since the election.

Lets face it, anyone who would even consider voting Labour would have to be either a retard or a parasite.

You are such a wit, Johnny. At least this post was a change from you telling us how rich and successful you are.

I try not to wish people ill, but I do look forward to your Damascene conversion which will follow your encounter with real life.

The irony is that Labour MPs didn't choose the wrong one...they voted for Dave over Ed. However thanks to the magic of AV, Ed won despite losing

Bad for Labour, also bad for Lib Dems, who will now surely lose the AV referendum as it is revealed what a comedy p1ss-poor system it is where meaningless 4th preferences make all the difference

I agree. There seem to be a lot of retards around though. Perhaps some scheme should be devised to lessen the numbers; a cull perhaps or breeding prevention scheme?

I fail to see how such a report is believable when (apparently) if you put pictures of the Millipeeds in front of people and ask which is which(?), 50% get it wrong (so that means the other 50% guessed right).

I would add two categories to that, people who have grown up amongst labour supporters and can't work it out for themselves so support them in some football team kind of way AND those who are cocooned in a working world with is in no way affected by the reality of recessions or true value.

all the right wing media are spinning it to persuade readers that it was the union barons who swung it for ed . in fact, there is no union block vote any more. it was ordinary working union members who voted for ed. and the reason that the media favorite david didnt win is because i placed david last in my preferences on my ballot paper. and if i did that to stop david winning , then hundreds of thousands of other union members probably did the same. why, because we do not want another blair. no, we want a proper labour leader. ed is not ideal but he's better than smug banana boy.

could you all imagine another fifteen yrs of blairism, frightening.

Very true in many cases Johnny although leave room to for corrupt, self satisfied, champagne socialist hypocrites who love to tell others how to live their lives but have never done a proper job ever; either ®Ed or Banana Boy fits as happily in that category as Brown, Blair or the thug Balls.

Ed Miliband`s mentality reminds me of the flower power people in the 60s, free love and all that old love grenades.

The front of the man is unbelievable, in I am right and everyone else is wrong. Ed if you are lacking in moral fibre then may I suggest you tie it into a knot.

Well of course David is normal Ed is not.

Well of course it's normal to approve of a million dead Iraqis and the torture of British citizens.
