Guest rigsby II
They'll try absolutely anything except drop the price. Still not selling though. Wonder what type of car it will be ? http://www.dezrez.com/DRApp/Search.ASP?WCI...ar&WCE=00258294 http://www.dezrez.com/DRApp/Search.ASP?WCI...ar&WCE=00296392 http://www.dezrez.com/DRApp/Search.ASP?WCI...ar&WCE=00257232 http://www.dezrez.com/DRApp/Search.ASP?WCI...ar&WCE=00350769 http://www.dezrez.com/DRApp/Search.ASP?WCI...ar&WCE=00351027 I cannot believe the number of new-build at crazy prices (for us northern monkeys), that are going up in old ex-pit villages you wouldn't want to be seen dead in. Nice little cul-de-sac oases surrounded by crackheads ready to burgle you when you are out shopping at Morrissons... Been to look at a new-build today (not these) and all the handles had been snapped off the patio doors and locks buckled by someone with a crowbar. EA looked very embarrassed. Can't wait for them to phone me up and ask me if I'm interested.
OnlyMe
Classic example of the modern "hardly detached" house - harldy detached from either the neighbours or indeed the road out the front and hardly enough room to open a car door and get out of the integrated garage. curious1
I wonder what the profit margin on those are... the land probably cost about 50-60k, build cost 50-60k... profit 50-60k?
The Masked Tulip
Why the feck do they build these houses with such tiny garages - especially as MPVs are the big car sellers these days. Inevitably, people convert those garages into rooms.
apom
Good point.. If I buy now and prices shoot up by the 500% that I am promised.. then if I Release equity and buy a 4x4 that won't ever gets its wheels dirty.. will depriciatte about 60% in three years and do 18mpg if I am lucky.. I need to be able to park it..
Guest Bart of Darkness
Eithe the EA photographer forgot his wide-angle lens that day or those are really tiny rooms. I got claustrophobia just looking at those pictures!
libitina
Is it usual to list the price of the 'extras'? I've never seen it before.

Probably the most sensible of these 'incentives' I have seen for genuinely trying to lock people in to new builds. Also shows some desperation.
