Question About Net House Prices

Recommended Posts

Guest The Relaxation Suite

Hi All

Another quick question that someone might be able to answer. I have been following a property which sold recently and I want to know how much it went for relative to the asking price (which was totally ridiculous by the way). I know it sold (contracts exchanged) on August 9 but it doesn't appear to be registered on Net House Prices, which was last updated September 28 for property sales registered up to August 31, so I am vexed. I would have thought if it sold on August 9 its sale would be registered in the batch up to August 31 and therefore be included in this latest update. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance once again

T.

Nethouseprices data, as you may know, is sourced from the Land Registry. The entry on the LR is dependant on the completion date, and when the LR receives the TR1 from the conveyancing solicitor. One I've been watching has a completion date of 31st July, but has only shown up this month.

So, should be there next month.

Mine showed up over 6 months later! No idea which month the sale would have appeared in stats - revised original or when finally published. Sign up to a tracking service & get emails.

they can take months to show up. I have an alert on for certain postcodes from nethousprices, the ones that came in yesterday were for sales in early July.

Thanks to one and all for your replies. Looks like it takes about two or three months to arrive on nethouseprices, so as my sale was Aug 9 I will expect it in the update ta the end of Sept or Oct.

Cheers.
