Boe Future Predictions

Recommended Posts

Apologies for not doing this myself.... quite busy at the moment (hence the lack of posts!)

However, I had a thought, and instead of it getting lost in the depths of my subconcious, I thought it might be interesting for someone else to take up the challenge. It is pretty simple.

Make a graph of the best ewstimates of the BoE future cpi / rpi curves, but take the +1 month figures from successive months, and link them all together to form the line, and link all the +2 months figures together, 6 months, 1 years, etc.

On the same graph, the actual CPI/RPI curves could be drawn.

Obviously usuing the "best guess" line.

It would be very enlightening to see how much they overpredicted by :)
