Boss Swap Estate Agent Warned By Oft

Recommended Posts

I'm not one to bash Estate Agents - surely they are just entrepreneurs operating in a market with imperfect information... however this article about Bruce Burkitt caught my eye. He sold a house to his own aunt (an employee). Now he could have his license (EAs need one?) revoked by the OFT.

LOL, he says:

'We could have painstakingly created a carbon copy of documentation, but we are not in the business of replicating fraudulent prices [sic] of paper, even if it would have got us off the hook,'

Is he not just admitting there that he did, indeed, not have it in writing, which is what the complaint was about in the first place?

I remember that program well. The guy was pretty insufferable. The other guy wasn't up to much either.

EDIT: typographical error
