Which Swiss Account?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Long been lurker, about 12 months.

Need some advise, my father who like myself also thinks the UK economy is about to tank, wants to move a nest egg £20K out of sterling and into the Swiss franc.

Can anyone personally recommend a website that has reasonable fees?

Remember a thread but cant seem to find it.

Cheers

I remember a while ago somebody on here suggested getting an easyjet flight over to eg Geneva and pop to the post office.

They do savings accounts and all you need is your UK passport to open an account.

You can then apparently service your account online from the UK.

Dunno if it's just as simple as that though.

Perhaps whoever posted before could chip in again?
