Spending Cuts, Mortgage Approvals, And Ftbs

Recommended Posts

Assuming that the younger workers on average have less service, lower wages, and more junior positions in the public sector could the spending cuts create a sustained drag on mortgage approvals (by removing even more ftb demand through redundancies )?

With the strict deposit requirements if this demand was removed it could then stabilise at a lower level (the long lead time to raise a deposit IMO creates demand destruction )
