House Price Crash Forum

Strike A Flipping Light

My initial reaction was the same as Reck B but if you read on there are stables and a paddock so that is what is really being sold, they assume you'll knock down rebuild the house:

A Rare Opportunity To Create A Superb Family Home With An Equestrian Based Business

So £575k for stables, potential to create riding business, and a building plot.

It's still a massive over-value but I'd halve it rather than take 10%.

I'll bet some old fogey who lived there popped their cloggs, and it either has been or will be empty for the next 5 years as the relatives demand full price on there inhertance.

Serveral people i know in this position now, dont rent it, wont reduce the price, paying council tax on it, in one case management fees too, and its been on the market nearly 4 years.
