Mal Volio
lol, the only people proud to be British are the people who only recently got here and now have shiny new red passports. Do you really think so ? How terribly sad for you I'm pretty proud of it. Sorry about that, but I love my country, I'm happy in my skin, I like my life and my family and friends and where I live and my job and everything. I'm not all burned up with self-hatred and envy and bile. Sorry about that. Maybe I'm just on the wrong forum, eh ?
Mal Volio
Martin Shultz also has no sense of humour just watch him in the videos with Farage. Perhaps you're just not very funny

Protect Rural England
Farrange is just an ignorant shouty idiot He's an embarrassment to anyone proud to be British On my recently completed Electoral Registration Card being English was not an option. I crossed out British and wrote English. I also put in my third initial which the authorities always omit. It is after all, my registered name. I am obliged to give my registered name, not the name that suits them for me to have.
Reck B
Farrange is just an ignorant shouty idiot He's an embarrassment to anyone proud to be British I'm British, proud to be British (well, English really) and he doesn't embarass me, Mal Wrongio I like him
Mal Volio
British (snigger). How quaint. Well I could have written "Welsh" but he isn't British adequately covers the both of us. Sorry if you find that offensive.

200p
The aim of the eventual global government.. the little man will never be able to "get ahead". All the major corporations will continue to consolidate their power using cheap money from their buddies at the FED - all the food, water, land, media, banking, etc. You will shop at Walmart, dine at McDonalds, drink Pepsi, worship our celebrity gods, and of course pay your taxes to the elite families at the top (who also own the majority stakes of these corporations). "The richest one percent of this country owns half the country's wealth: 5 trillion dollars. One third of that comes from hard work, two thirds of it comes from inheritance, interest on interest accumulation to widows and idiot sons and what I do -- stock and real estate speculation. It's ********. Ninety percent of the American people have little or no net worth. I create nothing; I own. We make the rules, Buddy, the news, war, peace, famine, upheaval; the cost of a paper clip. We pull the rabbit out of the hat while everybody else sits around their whole life wondering how we did it ... you're not naive enough to think we're living in a democracy are you, Buddy? It's the free market. You're one of us now...take advantage of it. You got the killer instinct, kid, stick with me. I got things to teach you" Edited September 8, 2010 by Money Spinner

As for comment above, what do you see being British as? I'm struggling to define what we are of late, other than by a land mass. That's not me being negative, really, it's a genuince question of what is being British when compared to every other EU country? We are sharing more and more of the same laws and regulations, our military and its decisions are also shared (NATO etc.), we've seen a fundamental shift in our behaviour away from neighbourhoods and actually talking to everyone. What is it to be British or are we just European.

What is it to be British or are we just European. We are European, sub group British, disallowed sub group English. The authorities are keen to know your ethnicity and which of the 27 languages you need your official form in or braille of course. Being English, unlike Scottish, Welsh, Irish or any other group, is not permitted.
@contradevian
He called the president as having as much charisma as a damp rag. (But we know their elite evil plans!) After that, this is what happened: Well Farage never went hill walking, so a different approach was required.
Charlie The Tramp Returns
Perhaps you're just not very funny Agree 100%, I am far too serious in my views to be funny. Another 5 years in the EU and the problems will be so great that even your perfect life will be greatly affected. Follow the EU and the Parliament as I do often and you will see the disaster coming. (No appropriate Emoticon for this post) BTW it`s not my Forum and I like to see opposite sensible views.

Redcellar
Well Farage never went hill walking, so a different approach was required. It's an incredible picture. He's relatively unscathed. I love the writing just above his head. 'Warning propeller'. Doubt he has to worry about that, it's probably fifty feet away with the rest of the smouldering wreckage. Amazing he survived and no wonder he lays into the EU staff, doubt he's worried about anything now.

Guillotine
Well I could have written "Welsh" but he isn't British adequately covers the both of us. Sorry if you find that offensive. If you are looking for a politicial union as a means of identifying yourself perhaps none better these days than "European". Or WASP where appropriate. The expression "British" ties a person to the British Empire, and is latterly associated with immigrants from far flung reaches of that empire to show common cause. The expression doesnt do if your roots are within the British Isles there being culturally richer and evocative expressions of belonging, Welsh being a reasonable example. Stereotypes can be useful, but a good fraction of the world population could describe themselves as "British" well into the 20th century.

Being English I am so proud that the World chose my Language to be the International Language. Unfortunately the majority of Countries decided to drive on the wrong side of the road, did they do this simply to have a pop at us.

Authoritarian
Yet despite his excellent performances in Europe the British public still decided he wasn't good enough for a proper parliamentary chamber, even though Gordon Brown was. Sometimes I think we deserve everything we get.

Sometimes I think we deserve everything we get. If Farage alone had challenged Bercow he would have won. There was a Tory rebel who stood and various other fringe candidates. Ukip cost Cameron his majority. Here is one of Farage`s great performances.

The ones I have think we're nuts for letting everyone over here and then handing out free money to anyone with a kid. They know we're wrecking our country and when it's been hollowed out from the inside they'll move on to the next welcoming socialist paradise. Heck, i'll probably be joining them, because this place is going to be a real dump in 10-20 years time if we don't remember where our backbone is. Executive Sadman
Give 'em hell, nige. Dont care whether you are left or right, if you think a national general election is worth voting in and worth keeping that way, you need to vote UKIP.
