Bob Diamond To Take Over At Barclays

Recommended Posts

Not seen this posted here yet. This was front page of the Times this morning, hence no linky (Murodvision, Times Paywall etc blah, blah). Looks like multi millionaire bankster Bob Diamond is tipped to take over from John Varley shortly. Diamond currently runs the casino end of the operation BarCap, which acquired assets from the failed Lehmans.

The Times goes onto to say, the Government (St Vince et all) is unlikely to be happy with the appointment, as they want banks to lend more to hard working, small business owners. As if the government has any say in the matter as we know its all a charade anyway, and the banks will appoint who the want to run the bank!

Actually The Independent has the story!

An American-born banker whose multimillion-pound pay rewards fuelled anger against the banking sector was named in the top job at Barclays today.

Why on earth would you do that?

Before an expert in the art of Ponzi finance finishes the job of siphoning off the real capital behind that fictitious number they send you on your bank statements? Not that it really matters at this stage, that horse bolted years ago.
