Best Savings Interest Rate?

Recommended Posts

My ING account hit the one year mark, so I am now being officially screwed.

Simple question, where can I move it to now?

(Just savings accounts please, not bonds or metals!)

If you want easy access, best buys in today's ST Money are:

Santander, 2.5% (phone a/c) 12 month 1.5% bonus, min deposit £1000;

Post Office, 2.75% (internet), 12 month 1.25% bonus.

Scottish Widows (internet) 2.65%, 12 month 0.69% bonus.

If you're of that age (over 50) Saga do an easy access 2.75% (phone or internet), 12 month 1% bonus.

All min. deposits except Santander are £1.

Other posters understand that there is an Investments sub-forum and within that a Cash ISAs and Savings Accounts sub-sub-forum for specific financial queries about savings rates ;)

Ask 'Bart' ;)
