Recommended Posts

A very interesting article about how bad things are for commercial property firms, developers, builders and how they can see things only getting worse in the age of austerity.

the sorrow is oozing through the pores of my skin

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AND ITS FINANCING ARE IN REAL TROUBLE. The plain fact is, there is an excess of some types of commercial property. With ever greater use of technology, so many home workers are squeezing the need for so much office space. Apart form the major city centres, it is hard to see how a resumption of demand will take place. I expect to see more conversions to residential use once the depression is over and credit begins to be normal.

Definitely DO NOT invest in commercial property at present.
