Uriah Heap
http://holykaw.alltop.com/philadelphia-charging-bloggers-300 It seems that some governments are getting pretty ruthless in their search for new sources of tax as others dry up.
DisQ
soon they will be taxed for breathing welcome to "save the bankster governments" while squeeze every last drop out of public, honestly we don't have eough to fill that big black hole even if we're to empty our savings & pockets but still they want more more & some more as Mega Mike (carpark charges) put it we'll just bendover & take it... @contradevian
How on earth would you enforce such as a daft law? Live in Philidelphia, but host the blog in London and have a private domain. Blogger, Wordpress.com etc going to play ball? Doubt it.
porca misèria
I notice the article fails to find anyone making no money and affected by this. So I'd guess this is a well-spun story, and the simple solution for those making $5 is just to remove all moneymaking altogether. As for the likes of wordpress and blogger, they'll be charging these people too. The free blogs are only for people who aren't making money out of them.
