Article in today's Independent, peppered with quotes from Paragon Mortgages, about how it's a great time to BTL.

- The crash in OO purchases means it's a great time to BTL - less competition for the properties for sale!

- People are too nervous about poss price falls to buy - more tenants!

- "The average house price has increased by 15.5% over the year".

I'm used to seeing these articles on the front of the local property rag but the Independent?!?

Yet another indication of how entrenched the whole VI spin machine is. Turning as ever, grinding away in the face of a huge tide. Look at the Independent Property section and you'll see why they have to keep up appearances, just like all the other "quality" rags. Pah!
