One for the deflationary Goldbugs - took this chart from the article, I have seen it before but the trends are there for all to see:

Interestingly, if we take out the extremes of ultra neg IR's, the smallish territory either side of zero favour silver

Mike Shedlock wrote some words about the performance of gold in times of deflation.

Shedlock agrees that gold tends to do well in deflationary times.
