Wonder how Savill's spokeswoman and properdee expert Melanie Bien is feeling having bought in London at the peak of the bubble in 2007 , totally clueless girl with absolutely no f/ing idea ........ :rolleyes:

Melanie Bien is a director and head of PR at independent mortgage broker, Savills Private Finance

(SPF). Before joining SPF in November 2004, Melanie was a journalist for 10 years, including five years as personal finance editor of the Independent on Sunday. She has also written a number of books on property and personal finance, including Renting Out Your Property for Dummies and Sorting Out Your Finances for Dummies.

Can't imagine they threw any more than 20k at it.

They did make a bloody nice job of it. I wish my place were refurbed to that standard
