Certainly one of those doccos that prompts much wtf'ing...

I was left wondering if the slag apologised to the family of the guy she murdered.

sheeple porn.

Grotesque titillation of the basest kind.

Yup. I ******ing loved it.

Maybe I should start taking myself intensely seriously and having contempt for anyone that doesn't live up to my deluded perception of self?

Those ladies are lucky they didn't play this motorway game with the US police. Both would have been history by now.

There was a little mor to it than that. As you appear to know. Baaaaaa.

Women gets hit by a car, hard, twice (two different cars minutes apart), after the second time she recovers from unconsciousness and smacks a copper in the chops runs away and starts dancing like a boxer ready to batter another copper - until 5 or 6 men finally wrestle her to the ground. She has an identical twin sister who does pretty much exactly the same thing - or tries to, the multiple compound fractures in her leg stop her getting too aggressive. That is just the beginning of the story.

Don't take my best physical asset and extrapolate it to represent my very being!

Yes, that was quite an experimental graft for its time.

I can't view iPlayer from here, what's all this about?

The below and then. SPOILER

She gets released. Ends up with a few blokes next night in their house. Seems a bit raj. One bloke leaves. Next morning other bloke gets up to borrow some milk of a neighbour. Goes back in to make her some food. Staggers our 60 seconds later having been stabbed 7 times in the chest by her. No prior indication of trouble.

Then is seen running along a road with a hammer smashing herself in the face. Gets cornered by the Police. Then jumps 40 feet onto a motorway. Survives.

Various docs come up with different theories of her mental actions. As she was not deemed mental at the time only get sentenced to 5 years. Will be out next year. Twin sister back in US. Neither have mentioned anything about it.

Started off in Ireland where murder bird was living happily with partner and kid. No history of any mental illness or anything. Sister who has some history IIRC arrives. After 2 weeks they just head off toward London for some reason. Nobody knows why. This is where the initial running into trucks incident occured.

No drugs or alchohol found in bloodstream afterwords.

One docs opinion was some rare phenomenon. Where one persons mentalness somehow takes over another person. Fact these are twins makes this slightly more likely. However extremely rare.

Mental. 100%. A must see. And different from the usual sheeple porn - actually mega interesting. And intriguing as neither has said even one word about any of it.

Wierd does not come close.

I thought, that like Raoul Moat, this was just a damning indictment of how the system fails to protect the public.

Some of the police talking heads commenting on the stabbing were saying 'there was nothing to indicate she'd go and do something like this'

What? Apart from the fact that the reason they had her in custody was because she'd run around a motorway, physically attacking those trying to help her, with no regard for her own, or anyone else's, safety like the most mental f**king looney you've ever seen. Despite, causing all that mayhem and them ruling out drugs being the cause they thought it was OK to set her loose with nothing but a bag of clothes and a scribbled note of the hospital her sister was in. It's no great surprise at all that she continued to self-harm harmed an innocent stranger trying to help her and then promptly threw herself off a motorway bridge.

She simply was not fit for release without the underlying cause of her previous behaviour, on the most extreme end of the spectrum, being established. Frankly, it seems that if you deliberately and repeatedly run into motorway traffic the authorities are more than happy to continuously devote resources to patching you up but won't bother with the idea of sectioning you.

Particularly as she (and her sister) was yelling for the Police to be called, as the Police tried to stop her running in to traffic, then telling them she knew they were not real.

That was the freakiest true story type thing I think I've ever seen.

I remember when that edition of Motorway cops was on a year or two ago. I could not believe what I was watching, I watched last night and to hear there was no drugs in her system is unbelievable. Both sisters were showing super human strength and aggression. I heard she had followed that up by jumping off a bridge but I was unaware she stabbed that poor fella to death.

As some have pointed out. How can someone with no drink or drugs showing in the system be allowed out after one night in jail to walk the streets with no fixed abode. She jumped in front of motorway traffic three times and assaulted at least two plod,

Her twin sister doing exactly the same. What do you have to do to be considered a proper loon and dangerous to the public and yourself?

I thought it was really interesting tv and well worth watching. Unfortunately the story will probably not end here and I expect she/they will be back in the news soon after her release.

She wasn't just 'let loose.' She was held in a cell by the police after the motorway stuff and charged with assault in court the next day. The court, in it's wisdom, sentenced her to 1 day's imprisonment (WTF?) and so because she had been in custody for that long already, THEN was released.

No questions were really raised as to why the court didn't refer for pyschiatric evaluation or even why they gave such a strange sentence.

Said on the program the people who checked her out are just asked to determine if she was fit for questioning, detention and court.

The guy the program had as a master forensic psychologist said it could have been she was ok after sedation and also the prosecution

and defence both thought is was a temporary condition which could relapse.

Just looks like a combination of lots of things like the rare condition, the aims of those looking after her and the BBC are not part of the police

force.

Accepted, but I still think 1 day's imprisonment is a bizarre sentence. The sort of think that a U.S. celeb gets for parole violation, not assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and I'd have added 'reckless endangerment' if such a crime exists.

If she started punching a US policeman a baton or a taser would have been deployed or even a gun.
