Tr Going Downmarket?

Recommended Posts

Still not worth it. I remember when those wee houses on the Donegal road were less than 40K - it wasn't that long ago.

A few months back a friend of a friend bought a house that was advertised in the 50's, in not the best area of Belfast. He offered 35 and got it - the owner had died and the family wanted a quick sale.

Same thing in parts of London -- £489k and occupied by some banker, or builder, or accountant who thinks he's well off because of the number attached to his house price. It was porbably built for a factory worker, but don't tell them. They might be upset.
