This is better though. No. Although allow me to self-indulge for a moment. Last month I walked into the music shop I'd been hassling for the past 6 months and swapped £2200 of my cash for a PRS Custom 24. Must...not...mention...the...car...carp...carpet. One of the drawbacks of renting. It's ******ing awful isn't it? Id take it back...its got no hole in the soundboard. Acoustics are for carnival folk. The first thing that struck me about the PRS was just how good it sounded without amplification. Top jugs. I wonder if she could alternate with Ms Riley on Countdown? It sounds okay to me, but what do I know? I used to have a `69 SG Custom ( 3 pickups). The `orrible Bigsby bridge meant serious tuning problems till I changd it for a more normal Tunamatic. Those were the days. That was sold about 20 years ago when I was strapped for cash after the birth of my daughter. Oh well. Well spotted about the neck. It is a bit chunkier than I was aiming for but not terribly so. The action`s pretty good and I`ve got a serious bee in my bonnet about intonation so it does play nicely in tune. Well I think so.
