And Then They Came For The Penshioners ....merged Fascist Britain

Full video in the mail.

Seriously, should someone so obviously ignorant of everything whats going on around him really be driving such a big, dangerous vehicle?

Runs from police for two minutes - has a blacked out vanity plated Range rover, typical drug dealers car - police probably thought it was stolen until they got to the untinted windows at the front and in the heat of the moment didnt realise some old codger was inside.

Im sympathetic with the police in this case.

Let's face it.. he shouldn't have been on the road.

The police thought they were dealing with the types you usually get in police chases.. bet little old man was the last thing the were expecting.

Even more unexpected when he appears to start fighting the officer off when he leans in.

Poor old bugger was probably scared half to death

Read the article:

"Police pulled over Robert Whatley, 70, for not wearing a seat belt as he drove through country lanes in South Wales. The 8-mile chase started after officers tried to give Mr Whatley a fixed penalty notice but he drove off."

They knew it was an old fella but with an illegally spaced no plate, illegally tinted windows and an 8 mile chase, I can't blame them for taking the initiative. He may have had a 'shooter' in the car. Big Vern ain't doin' no more stir.

That is something I ask myself everyday when I turn out on the Devonshire roads. Driving around here is NOT for the faint hearted as 4x4s abound, seemingly driven by people who are in the early stages - at least - of dementia!ohmy.gif

It is about time the DVLA got it sorted and GPs wrote them off for driving. I know of a GP who have signed the form for the over 70 re-licence, when the person had been diagnosed with dementia...and he knew it!

Jumping on the bonnet and attempting to kick the windscreen in though? Smashing the side window in to the blokes face? He was doing 30 mph, pretty obvious he wasn't exactly Ronnie Biggs.

Similar happened to my old dear years ago. Fiat Cinqicokecan, under speed limit. Eventually 'got her' in Tesco's car park. Young plod thick as shit spends 15 mins turning her into a nervous basket case . . .

Kunt.

These blokes were ego maniac idiots.

Yep.. did seem a bit excessive (especially if they already knew it was an old fella).

Why on earth didn't he stop though..? call me old fashioned an all

He was probably expecting them to pass. Not expecting them to be after him, because he's an old boy going to Sainsbury's.

He said he thought that the blue lights and siren of the pursuing car meant the officer was giving him a police escort home.

For me the most revealing part of this incident is the policeman jumping on the bonnet and trying to kick in the windscreen. If the police thought this driver was dangerous and possibly about to drive off again then I could understand their decision to take immediate action to apprehend the driver. However, if that was the case then you wouldn't stand on the bonnet of the car. What would have happened if the the driver had suddenly sped off? No, for me this looks like a bunch of frustrated policemen who wanted to teach this guy a lesson by smashing up his car.

Let me guess though; nothing will happen to them.

Did you watch the video?

Watched the video, load of nonsense for not wearing a seat-belt but driving off when they're halfway through ticketing you is just idiotic.

Yes I read his excuse, no I don't believe it

I certainly hope this isn't true.

It's certainly fact that NuLabour politicised the police and turned it into a quasi-military outfit.Coupled with the endless barrage of repetitive meaningless nonsense on telly, and the banking debacle,I'm afraid this does bear the hallmarks of fascism. The good news is if we can recognise the symptoms,we can do something about it........the present government have made a few moves in the right direction, but it is nowhere near enough.

we shed a lot of blood trying to stop this happening a generation or two ago,I hope there are a few good apples in there who can see what is being done and won't play ball.Seems to be the case over in the US,but the fascists certainly won't give up without a fight.

The G20 incident should have served as a warning that the politicians/police/corporate law enforcement do not hold the trust of the people, and they need to make reperations pretty smartly........if not we could quite easily see a whole series of raoul moats emerging as "freedom fighters"

this will certainly become the case across the pond, and the general rule is,for good or ill, where america leads we will follow.

Blacked out windows, had to be stopped with a stinger, pursued for 17 minute by a police car before he stopped...

No excuse for the police behaviour, but this guy's no innocent abroad.
