Recent Houses Sold In My Old Local Area

I'm not sure whats going off but in March I found a topic describing houses been sold days after coming on the market I like looking at houses in my old area and in the last year they have taken months to sell. Yesterday whilst I was viewing the list on Rightmove there was well over a duozen properties that have sold without displaying under over just come up suddenly as sstc. Anbody have any idea whats going on?

Similar here in Bath/Somerset at first sight but at least one agent had relisted all their sales they had in the last 18 months showing as sold in last 24 hours, seemingly making them appear very successful. It didnt last though as it prompted a tidy up of Primelocation which reduced number of house listed by about 10%. Rightmove have not done the same though.
