Guest DissipatedYouthIsValuable
A few rats is a small price to pay to keep that imaginary monetary system mathematically self consistent.

Compounded
I've had worse infestations under the chicken shed. Seriously, that's pretty ordinary. We kept chickens when I was a teenager in the 70's, chickens leave lots of food uneaten which encourages rats but it was great fun shooting the rats with an air rifle; i guess that pleasure is no longer PC, my kids shoot pretend people (who look very real) on the Xbox - this is not an advance IMO. SarahBell
http://nyctheblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/downtown-manhattans-collect-pond-park.html Watch the video Without watching it I'm just going to take a wild guess that the park is over run with rats because dirty humans see fit to leave food behind them.
