Can You Read Faces?

Recommended Posts

A false and untrustworthy **** with pointy shoes, a manbag and an iphone probably.

Likely to be a contractor/consultant or wannabe management type.

Incompetent *****stain.

Just thought: hope it's not a photo of you!

I had to triple read this thread title - I thought it said "can you read faeces"

I'd go for smiling/nervous.

Smiling because he no longer needs a poo/nervous because it's starting to hum.

I go for paedo. Why not ? There are lots out there so by the law of averages it is a possibility.

Go on, give it a go. There is, as they say, no right or wrong answer.

You mean to say you aren't going to post anything further on this?

Tie too wide, jacket doesn't quite fit (neck gap), five o'clock shadow, in dire need of a haircut.

Strange shit-eating grin. Uncertain. Vaguely guilty? Appeasement?

Got it. He's an Kosovar being shoved in front of Arkan's firing-squad, wondering WTF is happening.

Or you've been "amusing" yourself over the menswear catalogues again. He's a model, innit.

What, in the pub?

All the time !!

Never saw the options at the top of this thread in lo-fi mode.

Thought it was just a general opinion. Maybe paedo is a litte harsh. So when do we find out who this bloke is ?

What do you mean "no correct answer"?

Where do I get my money back?

This photo overflows with nonverbal dissonance.

And that smile puts me in mind of,

"That one may smile, and smile, and be a villain—

At least I am sure it may be so in Denmark."

This fellow is wise enough to play the fool,

And to do that well craves a kind of wit.

He must observe their mood on whom he jests,

The quality of persons, and the time....

A man with Two heads.

Must be Zaphod Beeblebrox, in which case he has an ego the size of a planet and is annoyingly happy.

It's difficult with one small picture. Yes, I did wonder if he was nervous but I went for generally happy. Maybe because deep down that's what I would prefer to be the case. I don't know. I did specifically look at the eyes to see if they were smiling but don't have anything to compare it to. There's too little information to really say for sure because the picture is a static one.

Don't know if I'm that good at reading faces but I'm not bad at reading mannerisms. The really subtle clues people drop for a split second when they are off their guard.

None of the above. It is a slightly forced smile - he looks a bit uneasy to me. It could be for a variety of reasons. shoes are pinching: he doesn't like the person taking the photo.....
