Take a wander around and savour the rural idyll that is Elmswell, Suffolk.

Haha!! fantastic, it really puts it into perspective!!! That's what I call local knowledge!

When looking at the Mail's photos, somehow trains and industrial estates don't come to mind! You're right it's not likely to be worth £320k at any rate...

btw looks like you're not the only one to be warning people about this cottage:

Don't know if the lady they refer to read your post but she certainly found the same link on Google Maps <_<

ooooh is that not a power line passing by the cottage ? And according to The Mail are not power lines one of the myriad aspects of modern life that give you cancer ?

:)

Only the ones whose field of influence is less than that of the mains cabling running through the wall 5" from your body in bed.

Looks like a low voltage line according to Google Streetview.

The garden backs on to a double railway track and there's a trading estate on the other side of the track.

It's not very rural, surrounded by some very ordinary properties.

Still, not bad for nothing.

I find this family rather sinister. There's something of the 'Stepford' about them.

Those smiles are definitely not human. I think I saw them in the display windows at Selfridge's last week.

Actually the cottage reminds me of something out of a child's nightmare. I'm expecting an angry clown to jump out at any time.
