And the average length of marriage for divorces granted increased from 11.3 years to 11.5 years.

Well things have definitely improved, when I was young only yesterday it seems, we had the seven year itch, now they have the 11.3 to 11.5 year itch. :)

Oh for God's sake!  There's more to life than house prices.

There is.. and to be honest the rest of it seems so easy..

Mind you.. I am not married yet.. and that is meant to be a fairly difficult way to go about the whole existance thing...

Hey, I just contributed to that (aged 27). If my £11k loss on purchase price of property 1 year earlier is anything to go by that will be helping things along a bit now ;-)
