the journo here was so eager to include an estimate of her house price that he did it twice within a few sentences, introducing a mistake as he did so.

i did watch the episode and was very mildly saddenned to see that a platinum-selling 'artist' could not afford something a little better... by way of a north london benchmark for some reason i remember reading that boy george [who obviously had a far higher profile and sold a lot more records, albeit as part of a four piece band] bought himself a biggish place in hampstead after only a couple of hits... reflective both of trends in music sales and, obviously, pwoperdee prices, i suppose... whilst it's true in all walks of life the sixties was particuarly a much better time to be born than the 1980s for a british 'pop star'...

Yeah, the house should be about £200k.
