Here is a nice article by some VIs (the woolich) that house prices will rise to £333,000 by 2025.

Basically based upon the current average house price of £160,000 this means that house price in the next 20 years will rise by 3.7% per year. Adjusted for inflation of 2% this is 1.7% growth P/A. No mention if this is with some deep busts and high booms. The VI including the government like to engineer a flat house price growth. Previous statistics proof otherwise.

What they forgot to mention is that by 2025 we'll also be living in 'accomodation units' high above the clouds in glass towers and wearing Star-Trek style lyrca bodysuits. People who don't buy by 2010 will end-up living in the 'Nether-Slums' at ground level below a cloud of green toxic dust and sleeping in dustbins.

I'd better start dieting now, those things aren't designed for the "fuller figure".

im not sure this will work as the population is supposed to be falling, so we should end up with a glut of inherited houses. i cant see this much. unless average wages for magnesium flux truck drivers were 85k per year. as well as a futuristic lycra bodysuit taylor on say £114 per hour.

this is taking he chestnut in the vest cabinet.

Wouldnt that mean that wages would be stupid high, just to pay for stupid house prices. When are these thick bastards going to realise high prices benefit no one apart from oldies downsizing? Also with this theory we'd all be paying £400 per haircut etc. With this in mind, companies costs will rise, and England will be a third world country in no time, as other "cheaper" countries make us and sell us everything. The UK wouldnt produce jack shit.
