OzzMosiz Report post Posted August 30, 2005 Seen a 2 bed semi with garage for rent in Swindon. £550 per month. Would mean I wouldn't be able to save as much money, but I would be closer to work, friends and the town I prefer to go out in and have some personal space. This is in the same area that I am looking to buy. £550 is just over 4 times my take home - a good deal?
AteMoose Report post Posted August 30, 2005 Have you considered a house share? Considerably cheaper than renting an entire house, and its great fun.

backtoparents Report post Posted September 1, 2005 Only if I can find some busty 20-something woman to share with! Edit: even a busty 30-something woman would be fine <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd go house share if you're single. You sound it. It'll save you money in the long run. Some people don't like the stress of cleaning up after everyone else, esp if everyone is working full time. Solution is to pay a cleaning person. Between 4 of you it works out cheap, and removes the main source of grief from the house, plus you're spreading some of that wealth around. /G
