JR...So, house prices have declined for each of the last 3 months

Persimmon Chairman...Ah yes, the Halifax figures. Don't pay any attention to short term figures. Prices are up 7% this year, dontcha know.

Yeah I saw it to.

The Persimmon guy ended with "I think we should concentrate on the fact that house prices are rising over the year, not on just a few isolated months data"

Usual VI nonsense.
