Good News, Bad News Yo-Yo.

Recommended Posts

All the financial news so far today looks good - upbeat - recovery etc. , despite last week being gloom and doom. This yo-yo-ing of sentiment has been going on for ages now. It must be having an unsettling effect on a lot of people and businesses. It's a bit like winning the lottery jackpot but having to swim through a crocodile infested river to collect your winnings!

I think this is relatively normal in a recovery, the markets etc climb a wall of worry.  Still someway to go mind you.

After 1987, things didn't bottom until 1989, and the recovery wasn't felt until about 1996.  Currently we are in about 1990, so another six more years of this at least.

Unless I am wrong an its actually 1931.
