Looks like it is going to be tough times ahead for UK Building contractors.  No more fat Schools for the Future Projects will be tendered.

So no more corporate hospitality days free holidays stuffed brown envelopes nod and a wink and hey presto you've got the contract

Never happen in the uk its the way we do business and always will do.

still bet those council workers provide "consulting services" to the suppliers in order to put forward successful tenders :lol:

silly shapes and designs. Too expensive. They could have built double the number if they'd built standard shape buildings.

It will be telling if liebour starts attacking these cuts as Snot Gobbler specifically mentioned new hospitals and schools to be cut in a pre-election interview (IIRC the same one as he said housing is essentially a private sector activity :rolleyes: ) due to the fact they had built so many during the last 13 years they wont need to build more in the forseeable future.
